A spooky MKAL is coming up for the fall season, A Purrfect Scare Halloween Scarf MKAL!

What is an MKAL? An MKAL is when the pattern is broken up into a series of clues or parts. What the final piece looks like is a mystery until all the parts have been received.

A Purrfect Scare Halloween Scarf is a fun double knit spooky scarf showcasing images of cats along with other Halloween creatures and scenes. It’s purrfect for celebrating the spooktacular holiday! The MKAL starts on August 17 on Ravelry, and the pattern is 20% off until it starts. There will also be a drawing at the end for participants.

This year I knit myself a present. Since I often play the elf, giving everyone in my family plenty of hand made gifts, I made myself an elf hat. I didn’t want it to look too much like a santa hat, so I chose a pattern with stripes and used green and white.

The pattern is called Striped Stocking Caps, and includes a child size, small adult size, and large adult size. I made the small adult size.
