Sheep are the source of the beautiful, luxurious wool that many knitters use to knit their creations. They can also be darned cute! The Counting Sheep Scarf has an entire herd of sheep along its length, in two different colors. Depending on the yarn you use, it can have white and black sheep, blue and yellow sheep, purple and green sheep, or whatever color combination you can imagine! If you’re counting, there are 55 sheep on each side of the scarf. The scarf also comes in handy for insomnia — counting the sheep should put you right to sleep!

I designed this blanket while on my honeymoon in Hawaii. I loved watching the waves come in, and wanted to capture the feeling of the ocean so that I could snuggle up with a blanket and dream of Hawaii on cold winter days. My husband even drove me to a yarn shop in Hawaii so that I could buy new yarn to start knitting it right away!

The blanket is constructed using mini cables and two colors of yarn. Similar colors will blend into each other and create a variegated look, while different colors will show more pronounced striping. Optionally, the blanket can be knit with just a single color of yarn instead.

Tetris is one of my all time favorite games. Something about how the blocks fit together speaks to me. I designed the Tetris Prism Scarf to feature a Tetris game on both ends, with falling blocks along the length of the scarf. Each end has two different possible designs you can choose to knit, for either a well played game or a poorly played game! I imagine it as two people playing a Tetris battle.

Double knit, this scarf is fully reversible, featuring opposite color schemes on each side. Tetris is a colorful game, so I used a rainbow colored yarn to really make the pieces pop.

Fractals have always fascinated me. They are a beautiful combination of mathematics and art. At its most basic level, a fractal is a pattern that looks similar at every level of magnification. The Dragon Curve Fractal is the fractal featured in the chapter headings for Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton.

I designed this hat to show off the lacy design of the Dragon Curve Fractal. It is a medium weight, double knit hat that features this fractal repeated all around the hat. Contrasting yarns show off the design, especially if one of the yarns is a variegated yarn. The hat is fully reversible, featuring opposite color schemes on each side.
